Miniaturisation schemes for metallodielectric electromagnetic bandgap structures

open access: yesIET Microwaves, Antennas & Propagation, 2007
Two miniaturisation schemes for metallodielectric electromagnetic bandgap (MEBG) arrays are presented. Miniaturisation by virtue of the closely coupling technique as well as by employing complex element geometries is demonstrated by means of full-wave simulations and experimental results.

Split-Ring Coupled Low-Cost Antenna with Electromagnetic Bandgap (EBG) Superstrates to Produce Tri-bands and High Gains [PDF]

open access: yesRadioengineering
In this paper, a novel tri-band low-cost antenna covering the desired frequencies is presented. The architecture is formed by a printed dipole coupled by a split-ring within an electromagnetic bandgap (EBG) structure for high radiation gains. The printed

Design of Electromagnetic Bandgap Structures in Glass Interposers Based on Dispersion Analysis for Signal and Power Integrity Improvement

open access: yesIEEE Access
This article proposes dispersion analysis for an efficient design of electromagnetic bandgap (EBG) structures in glass interposers to suppress power/ground noise coupling. The proposed method considered design parameters such as patch, through glass via (
