The Calculation and Analysis of the Bistatic Quantum Radar Cross Section for the Typical 2-D Plate
The quantum radar cross section (QRCS) describes how much return one gets when illuminating an object with a handful of photons. However, the previous studies mainly focused on the monostatic scattering of quantum radar. In this study, in response to the

Measurement Uncertainty of Radiated Electromagnetic Emissions in In Situ Tests of Wind Energy Conversion Systems [PDF]
The electromagnetic (EM) emissions of wind energy conversion systems (WECS) are evaluated in situ. Results of in situ tests, however, are only valid for the examined equipment under test (EUT) and cannot be applied to series production as samples, as ...

Electromagnetic perturbations in new brane world scenarios [PDF]
In this work we consider electromagnetic dynamics in Randall-Sundrum branes. It is derived a family of four-dimensional spacetimes compatible with Randall-Sundrum brane worlds, focusing on asymptotic flat backgrounds. Maximal extensions of the solutions are constructed and their causal structures are discussed.

Additive manufacturing of magnesium alloys by laser is difficult because the melting point of the oxide layer is much higher than the evaporation temperature of the metal underneath. Making the oxide layer thinner can solve this problem. Alloying magnesium with strontium makes the oxide layer thinner, especially at 0.5 wt%.

Computation of transient electromagnetic fields due to switching in high voltage substations [PDF]
Switching operations of circuit breakers and disconnect switches radiate transient electromagnetic fields within high-voltage substations. The generated fields may interfere and disrupt normal operations of electronic equipment.
