Modeling and Simulation of Electromagnetic Field of Electromagnetic Coil Launcher

IEEJ Transactions on Electrical and Electronic Engineering, 2021
Electromagnetic coil launcher is a kind of special linear motor. In order to study the trigger principles of multi‐stage electromagnetic coil launcher, based on the electromagnetic field theory, the paper deduced the field‐circuit coupling magnetic field control equations of multi‐stage synchronous inductive coil with the consideration of inter‐stage ...

The Field Marshal Electromagnetic Simulation Environment

2006 IEEE International Vacuum Electronics Conference held Jointly with 2006 IEEE International Vacuum Electron Sources, 2006
Summary form only given. High power microwave research requires multiple simulation codes to address physics at different space and time scales. Costs associated with purchase, maintenance and training become important issues when a "toolbox" of codes is needed.

Simulating the electromagnetic field in microwave ovens

2011 SBMO/IEEE MTT-S International Microwave and Optoelectronics Conference (IMOC 2011), 2011
Microwave heating has been widely used in the industry to synthesize dielectric materials, in which conventional procedures are slow, expensive and inefficient. In this application, the energy is introduced directly into the volume of the dielectric and as consequence the quality of the process is highly dependent on the uniformity of the ...

Study on simulation of lightning electromagnetic field

2014 IEEE International Symposium on Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC), 2014
A kind of electric and magnetic field generators with adjustable waveforms and intensity output to simulate lightning electromagnetic fields are presented. The electric fields measured by a dipole antenna and ranged from 0 to 300kV/m can be generated within the GTEM cell by feed-in of an impulse voltage.

Electromagnetic fields simulation on distribution feeders

2015 IEEE NW Russia Young Researchers in Electrical and Electronic Engineering Conference (EIConRusNW), 2015
It is well known that electromagnetic fields (EMF) are presented or produced on Utilities elements especially distribution feeders (DFs), which due to the demand, these have increased their capacity. However, DFs are operating near of their limits, which have produced an increase in EMF values, being a preoccupation for their possible effects on the ...

Application of Femap in Electromagnetic Field Simulation

2009 Second International Conference on Information and Computing Science, 2009
A finite element analysis program was compiled by the author by means of Femap Application Programming Interface(API), and Femap became useful in electromagnetic filed simulation. In this paper, a model of current-carrying solenoid is built in Femap, the finite element analysis results are presented, and some key codes in the program are given.

Simulation of electromagnetic fields in a microelectrode array

Proceedings of the IEEE-EMBS Special Topic Conference on Molecular, Cellular and Tissue Engineering, 2003
An area of significant potential in Micro-Electro-Mechanical Systems (MEMS)-related technology is the construction of microelectrode arrays that can be used to preferentially kill nearby biological cells while leaving cells more distant from the array intact. This paper details some of the basic considerations related to this research area, and goes on

TEM cell electromagnetic field simulation

1999 9th International Crimean Microwave Conference 'Microwave and Telecommunication Technology'. Conference Proceedings (IEEE Cat. No.99EX363), 1999
The main advantage of the developed software is the possibility to solve the electromagnetic field problem in the case of complicated shapes of shield and septums of TEM cell. It allows design of new and existing TEM cells and improves the uniformity of electromagnetic field and increases operating frequency range (by increasing cutoff, frequency of ...
