Numerical solution of the dielectrophoretic and travelling wave forces for interdigitated electrode arrays using the finite element method [PDF]
AC electrokinetics is the study of the movement of polarisable particles under the influence of AC electric fields. The fields are applied to a suspension of particles by planar microelectrode structures and one particular design, the interdigitated bar ...

Influence of high‐order electromagnetic force on vibration characteristics of induction motor
The exploration of electromagnetic vibration sources is very important for the vibroacoustic reduction of a squirrel‐cage induction motor. However, the influence of high‐order electromagnetic force on the electromagnetic vibration of induction motor has ...

Design and experimental characterization of a tunable vibration-based electromagnetic micro-generator [PDF]
Vibration-based micro-generators, as an alternative source of energy, have become increasingly significant in the last decade. This paper presents a new tunable electromagnetic vibration-based micro-generator.

Transmission of Vibrations from Windings to Tank in High Power Transformers
This article presents a step-by-step methodology for calculating transformer tank vibrations caused by electromagnetic forces. This approach uses 3D finite element models for both magnetic and structural calculations. Particular attention was paid to the

Electromagnetic Force on a Magnetic Monopole [PDF]
The electromagnetic force on a magnetic monopole in matter is shown to be F=g(H-v\ifmmode\times\else\texttimes\fi{}E/c) when there is only one magnetic monopole in matter. The relation between this force and the conservation law of momentum is discussed. The case in which a macroscopic number of magnetic monopoles exist in matter is also discussed.

Claw‐pole magnetic levitation torque motor for 2D valve with automatic neutral adjustment
In order to solve the problems of complex structure and the difficulty of neutral adjustment of the existing 2D valve electro‐mechanical converter, a kind of claw pole magnetic levitation torque motor (CPMLTM) was proposed, which automatically suspended ...
