Multi‐Scale Interface Engineering of MXenes for Multifunctional Sensory Systems
MXenes, as two‐dimensional transition metal carbides and nitrides, demonstrate remarkable capabilities for multifunctional sensing applications. This review systematically examines multi‐scale interface engineering approaches that enhance sensing performance, enable diverse detection functionalities, and improve system‐level compatibility in MXene ...

Do asteroids evaporate near pulsars? Induction heating by pulsar waves revisited
We investigate the evaporation of close-by pulsar companions, such as planets, asteroids, and white dwarfs, by induction heating. Assuming that the outflow energy is dominated by a Poynting flux (or pulsar wave) at the location of the companions, we ...

Ultrasmall Platinum Nanoparticles for Radiation‐Enhanced Cancer Therapy
This work proposes a nanomedicine‐based strategy to enhance X‐ray radiotherapy for cancer treatment. Ultrasmall Pt‐NPs exhibit catalase‐like activity that may contribute to modulation of the tumor microenvironment and amplify interactions between radiation and biological matter, leading to increased DNA damage.

Obtaining Maxwell's equations heuristically
Starting from the experimental fact that a moving charge experiences the Lorentz force and applying the fundamental principles of simplicity (first order derivatives only) and linearity (superposition principle), we show that the structure of the ...

Complex latency dynamics of biological neuron model under effect of electromagnetic induction
In this study, the effect of electromagnetic induction on spike latency dynamics in the Hodgkin–Huxley (H–H) neuron is investigated. It has been shown that the timing of first spikes is an effective information carrier and delay in the first spike ...

Magnetic illusion: transforming a magnetic object into another object by negative permeability
We theoretically predict and experimentally verify the illusion of transforming the magnetic signature of a 3D object into that of another arbitrary object.
