Multimode Adaptive Thermoregulation Enabled by Shape Morphing and Radiative Cooling Porous Polyurethane

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
A shape‐morphing, porous polyurethane film combines passive radiative cooling with folding to deliver multilevel heating‐and‐cooling control. High solar reflectance and midinfrared emissivity keep surfaces up to 3.5 °C cooler in direct sunlight, while photothermal triggering folds the film to absorb solar heat.

Decomposition of Electromagnetic Interferences in the Time-Domain [PDF]

open access: yesIEEE Transactions on Electromagnetic Compatibility, 2016
Electromagnetic interferences are potentially very complex signals formed by the superposition of transient (broadband) and continuous wave (narrowband) components with significant randomness in both amplitude and phase. Decomposing the electromagnetic interference measured in the time domain into a set of intrinsic mode functions is useful to gain ...
