Bandgap voltage reference with low susceptibility to electromagnetic interference (EMI)

Proceedings of the 24th symposium on Integrated circuits and systems design, 2011
In this paper, the susceptibility of a current-mode bandgap voltage reference to electromagnetic interference (EMI) superimposed to the power supply is investigated by simulation. Designed for AMS 0.35 CMOS process, the circuit provides a stable voltage reference in the temperature range of -40-150°C.

Electromagnetic interference (EMI) testing of electrical equipment

2011 Electrical Insulation Conference (EIC)., 2011
Assessment of the condition of electric machinery in a power plant has always been difficult. The standard on-line monitoring instrumentation is particularly deficient on generators. Specialized devices can be added to improve capability somewhat, e.g., generator condition monitor, flux probe for field turn shorts, stator endwinding vibration ...

Electromagnetic interference (EMI) suppression techniques - a case study

Proceedings of the International Conference on Electromagnetic Interference and Compatibility (IEEE Cat. No.02TH8620), 2003
This paper discusses typical electromagnetic interference (EMI) problems encountered in airborne/ground subsystems during EMI/EMC performance evaluation for conducted emission, radiated emission and conducted susceptibility tests. It also highlights different suppression techniques, followed in hardening the units by selecting proper EMI power line ...

Electromagnetic Interference (EMI)

2010
Radiated emissions in high-speed DSP systems are caused by fastswitching currents and voltages propagating through printed circuit board traces. As DSP speed increases, printed circuit board traces are becoming more effective antennas, and these antennas are radiating unwanted energies that interfere with other circuitry and with other systems located ...

Electromagnetic interference (EMI) shielding of carbon nanostrcutured films

2010 International Conference on Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, 2010
In the present study we have developed a graphene film using vacuum infiltration technique and evaluated its Electromagnetic interference shielding effectiveness (EMISE). Multi walled carbon nanotubes were prepared using chemical vapor deposition technique and graphene was prepared by thermal exfoliation of graphite oxide. We also compared the EMISE of

Cable Tray Connections for Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) Mitigation

IEEE Transactions on Electromagnetic Compatibility, 2011
Cable trays are used in industry to order cable runs in distributed systems. With little extra effort, cable trays can also be exploited to harden cables against external electromagnetic interference. Some recommendations in this regard are found both in literature and in standards.

Reduction of Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) in Interleaved DC-DC Converters

2020 IEEE Energy Conversion Congress and Exposition (ECCE), 2020
In this paper, a periodic dithering technique for electromagnetic interference (EMI) reduction in interleaved DC-DC converters is proposed. The frequency range of the pulse-width modulated (PWM) signal, along with the periodic time and phase of the dithering signal are the parameters involved in the dithering process. The effects of these parameters in

Radar Pulse Compression and Electromagnetic Interference (EMI)

1991
Abstract : The acoustical significance of ocean surface dynamics is well known. Motivation for establishing the causal relations between these two physical processes has both underwater acoustic system noise reduction and oceanographic remote sensing objectives.

Electromagnetic interference (EMI) behavior of system in package ( SIP)

2004 International Symposium on Electromagnetic Compatibility (IEEE Cat. No.04CH37559), 2004
We first report the electromagnetic interference (EMI) behavior of a system in package (SIP), consisting of MCU, NAND flash memory, SDRAM and printed circuit board (PCB) substrate, in comparison to the discrete PCB with individual integrated circuits (IC) mounted on a system board.
