On the electromagnetic radiations measurement [PDF]

open access: possible2013 13th Mediterranean Microwave Symposium (MMS), 2013
This paper describes different kinds of radiating structures, presents the current electromagnetic radiations measurement techniques, and proposes a complementary measurement range adapted for large dimensions antennas, and allows potential gain in measurement time and costs compared to indoor measurement ranges.

Minishields of electromagnetic radiation [PDF]

open access: possibleJournal of Communications Technology and Electronics, 2008
Resonant minishields based on a pair of closely spaced capacitive gratings are proposed. The resonance frequency of such screens is calculated and measured. The possibility of realization of minishields at frequencies of 1.8 and 2.5 GHz is shown.

Pantograph–Catenary Arcing Detection Based on Electromagnetic Radiation

IEEE transactions on electromagnetic compatibility (Print), 2019
Currently, the detection equipment for offline arcing on high-speed trains is of great interest because it can evacuate the contact state between the contact wire and the strip.

Ultraintense Electromagnetic Radiation in Plasmas

2006
In this chapter the fundamental physical processes underlying the interaction of relativistically intense EM radiation with a preformed collisionless plasma have been discussed, introducing the most appropriate relativistic models which are currently used in the theoretical research: the kinetic approach, the multi-fluid model, and the electron-fluid ...

Modulated wave formation in myocardial cells under electromagnetic radiation

International Journal of Modern Physics B, 2018
We exclusively analyze the onset and condition of formation of modulated waves in a diffusive FitzHugh–Nagumo model for myocardial cell excitations. The cells are connected through gap junction coupling.

Electromagnetic Radiation

1976
Publisher Summary Light waves, radio waves, television waves, infrared radiation, X rays, ultraviolet radiation, microwaves, and gamma (γ) rays perform a variety of tasks. These radiations are all electromagnetic radiations, and they all have the same basic physical features.

On the multipole electromagnetic radiation

Journal of Physics A: Mathematical and General, 2004
After a systematic introduction of some formulae for the energy radiated by localized electric charges and currents distributions, one considers the multipole radiation and the reduction of the multipole tensors to the symmetric traceless ones. A general formula for the total power radiated by a confined system of charges is given.

Electromagnetic radiation recoil [PDF]

open access: possibleJournal of Physics A: Mathematical and General, 1977
Electromagnetic waves from a finite oscillating linear cohesive distribution of electric charge are investigated by a double-parameter approximation method applied to the Einstein-Maxwell equations of general relativity. In the metric representing the distribution, gravitational dipole terms (proportional to time) appear which indicate that the source ...
