Theoretical analysis of electromagnetic reverberation chamber
2005 IEEE International Symposium on Microwave, Antenna, Propagation and EMC Technologies for Wireless Communications, 2006There are several disadvantages in the current electromagnetic theory of reverberation chamber analysis. The first disadvantage is that the current theory can only estimate number of electromagnetic modes and statistic uniform field distribution under high order modes circumstance inside a reverberation chamber, not give a systematic electromagnetic ...

Reverberating chamber electromagnetic field in presence of an unstirred component
IEEE Transactions on Electromagnetic Compatibility, 2000A theoretical model for the electromagnetic field within a reverberating chamber in presence of an unstirred component is presented. Due to the stochastic nature of the electromagnetic field within the chamber, a statistical electromagnetic approach is developed and tested versus measurements.

Vibrating Intrinsic Reverberation Chamber for Electromagnetic Compatibility Measurements
IEEE Latin America Transactions, 2013This paper introduces the basic concepts and implementation of a Vibrating Intrinsic Reverberation Chamber (VIRC). This kind of chambers is used in electromagnetic compatibility testing, and offer some advantages compared to traditional chambers. An introduction, an overview of theoretical principles, a description of the VIRC recently built at the ...

On the phase statistics of the electromagnetic field in reverberating chambers
IEEE Transactions on Electromagnetic Compatibility, 2001A theoretical model for the electromagnetic field phase statistics within a reverberating chamber is presented. The model is general since it is able to model a completely stirred field and an electromagnetic field in which an unstirred field component is present.

Investigating electromagnetic exposure of communication cables in reverberant chambers
IEEE International Symposium on Electromagnetic Compatibility, 2003As distributed electronic systems become more complex, the electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) behaviour of the communication cables becomes more significant. Hence a range of test methods must be developed that will provide an adequate measure of the cable's interference susceptibility. One such method is the 'mode stirred reverberation chamber method'

Carbon foam electromagnetic mm-wave absorption in reverberation chamber
Carbon, 2019Abstract The electromagnetic (EM) absorbing cross section (ACS) of carbon foams in the mm-wave frequency range 50–70 GHz is analyzed by means of a reverberation chamber (RC) set-up. Carbon foams are lightweight cellular materials which are believed to provide benefits in EM interference/compatibility (EMI/EMC) issues, due to their significant thermo ...

Acoustic and electromagnetic reverberation chambers: Similarities and differences
2016 Asia-Pacific International Symposium on Electromagnetic Compatibility (APEMC), 2016Acoustic reverberation chambers predate electromagnetic (EM) reverberation chambers. EM reverberation chamber researchers occasionally make reference to acoustic equivalents when describing test methods and results. However, most EM reverberation chamber users are not familiar with acoustics and may not be aware of similarities and differences.

Validation of Vibrating Intrinsic Reverberation Chamber using Computational Electromagnetics
2019 Joint International Symposium on Electromagnetic Compatibility, Sapporo and Asia-Pacific International Symposium on Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC Sapporo/APEMC), 2019Our study demonstrates a validation of the computational electromagnetics modeling and a simulation of a vibrating intrinsic reverberation chamber (VIRC). The VIRC generates a random electromagnetic environment by shaking the flexible conductive walls to vary the boundary conditions.
