Analysis and Characterization of Electromagnetic Reverberation Chamber with Metamaterial Walls
2023 IEEE Third International Conference on Signal, Control and Communication (SCC), 2023This paper presents the effect of metamaterial walls on the Lowest Usable Frequency (LUF) of a Reverberation Chamber (RC). First, the metamaterial walls are modeled as surface impedance.

Measurement of the SAR Value Distribution in an Electromagnetic Reverberation Chamber [PDF]
E2018BioERCfinal. It is quantified by the specific absorption rate (SAR). Differing thermal and non-thermal effects requires suitable tissue samples under well-defined environmental parameters (e.g. temperature and humidity) and an exposure setup providing defined deterministic or probabilistic EM fields. Multiple test setups exist, e.g. open area test

Advanced Electromagnetic Field Uniformity in Reverberation Chamber [PDF]
This paper presents the field uniformity characteristics in a triangular prism reverberation chamber and a rectangular reverberation chamber that can be substituted for an open area test site or an anechoic chamber to measure electromagnetic interference. To improve size problems of a stirrer that is an essential unit to generate a uniform field in the

Carbon foam electromagnetic mm-wave absorption in reverberation chamber
Carbon, 2019Abstract The electromagnetic (EM) absorbing cross section (ACS) of carbon foams in the mm-wave frequency range 50–70 GHz is analyzed by means of a reverberation chamber (RC) set-up. Carbon foams are lightweight cellular materials which are believed to provide benefits in EM interference/compatibility (EMI/EMC) issues, due to their significant thermo ...

Coupling of Stochastic Electromagnetic Fields to a Transmission Line in a Reverberation Chamber
A new method for the numerical simulation of the stochastic electromagnetic environment of a mode-stirred chamber is presented in this paper. This method is based on the plane-wave integral representation for the fields and uses a Monte Carlo simulation to replace the analytical integration by numerical summation.

DUT Response to Radiated Electromagnetic Fields in a Continuously Stirred Reverberation Chamber
Reverberation chambers enable robust measurements of immunity to radiated electromagnetic fields. The modestirred operating mode, in which the boundary conditions are continuously changed, is particularly time-efficient.

Algorithm for an Estimation of the Electromagnetic Field Uniformity in the Working Volume of a Reverberation Chamber [PDF]
An analytical model for a rapid estimation of the distribution of the electromagnetic field in the working volume of a reverberation chamber (RC) with a rectangular enclosure is presented. The designed algorithm and software implementation of this model are described and an analysis of the non-uniform distribution of the E-field in the working volume ...
