Measurement with quasi-isotropic antenna of CEM coming from multisource in a reverberation chamber and in a car

open access: yesJournal of Microwaves, Optoelectronics and Electromagnetic Applications
The concern about the health risks that wireless technology can provide has grown globally thanks to the growing use of the devices by the population, by the finding that the public exposure to EMFs from the devices can be enhanced by the reflection of ...

Neurophilic Biomimetic Lipoprotein‐Mediated Targeted Nerve Growth Factor Delivery for Traumatic Brain Injury Therapy

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Design of neurophilic biomimetic lipoprotein for intracerebral delivery of nerve growth factor (NGF) to traumatic brain injury (TBI). Nc‐rHDL@P can cross the BBB through ApoE3‐receptors interaction and target neurons via αRDP‐nAChR interaction. Nc‐rHDL@P delivers NGF to the lesion sites, rescues neurons, curbs inflammation, boosts sensorimotor and ...

Changes in a Printed Circuit Board's Absorption Cross Section Due to Proximity to Walls in a Reverberant Environment [PDF]

open access: yes, 2016
Knowledge of the Absorption Cross Section (ACS) of a Printed Circuit Board (PCB) is essential when defining an enclosure’s shielding effectiveness as it will determine how a PCB affects the internal electromagnetic (EM) field inside the enclosure.

Experimental validation of the diverse incident angle performance of a pulse-width-dependent antenna based on a waveform-selective metasurface in a reverberation chamber

open access: yesAIP Advances
We present experimental validation results of a pulse-width-dependent antenna based on a waveform-selective metasurface that behaves differently according to the incoming waveform, more specifically, the incoming pulse width, even at a fixed frequency ...

On the Field Statistics in Nested Reverberation Chambers

open access: yesIEEE Access
We study the normalized field statistics inside nested reverberation chambers (NRCs), through the analysis of the shielding effectiveness of enclosures and material samples.

Metasurface Doppler Cloak for Broadband Radar Stealth

open access: yesAdvanced Physics Research, EarlyView.
Suppressing the motion‐induced Doppler shift passes the target as part of the static clutter which is ignored by radars. Using a simple time‐modulation, frequency conversion is obtained from a metasurface‐based solution over a wide range. Referred to as a Doppler cloak, this work expands and validates such a varactor‐loaded prototype for broadband ...

Probability Distribution of the Quality Factor of a Mode-Stirred Reverberation Chamber

open access: yes, 2012
We derive a probability distribution, confidence intervals and statistics of the quality (Q) factor of an arbitrarily shaped mode-stirred reverberation chamber, based on ensemble distributions of the idealized random cavity field with assumed perfect ...

Absorption cross section measurement of stacked PCBs in a reverberation chamber [PDF]

open access: yes, 2016
The Absorption Cross Section (ACS) of Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs) can be used to help determine how PCBs affect the internal electromagnetic (EM) field in a shielded enclosure and thus the enclosure shielding effectiveness.

Correlation matrix methods to assess the stirring performance of electromagnetic reverberation chambers [PDF]

open access: yesWave Motion, 2019
Abstract The use of correlation matrices to evaluate the number of uncorrelated stirrer positions of electromagnetic reverberation chambers has widespread applications in electromagnetic compatibility. We present a review of recent methods based on multivariate correlation functions that relates statistical inhomogeneities in space (frequency) to the

Solution‐Like Water Transport Across Molecular to Macroscopic Length Scales in Crosslinked Poly(Ethylene Glycol Diacrylate) Networks With Tailored Sidechains

open access: yesJournal of Polymer Science, EarlyView.
Cross‐linked PEGDA network microparticles are synthesized with spin labels to sense local water motion. From the nanoscale to the macroscale, PEGDA exhibits rapid, solution‐like water transport as measured by spectroscopic techniques. Addition of side chain chemistries further modulates local water diffusion.
