Acoustic and electromagnetic reverberation chambers: Similarities and differences
2016 Asia-Pacific International Symposium on Electromagnetic Compatibility (APEMC), 2016Acoustic reverberation chambers predate electromagnetic (EM) reverberation chambers. EM reverberation chamber researchers occasionally make reference to acoustic equivalents when describing test methods and results. However, most EM reverberation chamber users are not familiar with acoustics and may not be aware of similarities and differences.

Evaluation of Stochastic Electromagnetic Field in Multi-Volume Reverberation Chamber Configurations
2019 International Conference on Electromagnetics in Advanced Applications (ICEAA), 2019Full wave simulations of a reverberation chamber were performed in order to evaluate the stirring efficiency when the overall volume of the chamber was varied, progressively enlarged. The stirrer geometry, position and geometry, do not change during the analysis. We evaluated the stirrer uncorrelated positions, K-factor and the power max-to-mean ratio.

Research on the substitute method of electromagnetic emulation for reverberation chamber
2009 5th Asia-Pacific Conference on Environmental Electromagnetics, 2009Finite array of continuous wave superposition was adopted to simulate electromagnetic environment of reverberation chamber. Using this equivalent method it is not necessary to divide cavity mesh grid and calculate the reflect process of the chamber cavity time after time.

On the phase statistics of the electromagnetic field in reverberating chambers
IEEE Transactions on Electromagnetic Compatibility, 2001A theoretical model for the electromagnetic field phase statistics within a reverberating chamber is presented. The model is general since it is able to model a completely stirred field and an electromagnetic field in which an unstirred field component is present.

Measurement of the SAR Value Distribution in an Electromagnetic Reverberation Chamber
2018 2nd URSI Atlantic Radio Science Meeting (AT-RASC), 2018E2018BioERCfinal. It is quantified by the specific absorption rate (SAR). Differing thermal and non-thermal effects requires suitable tissue samples under well-defined environmental parameters (e.g. temperature and humidity) and an exposure setup providing defined deterministic or probabilistic EM fields. Multiple test setups exist, e.g. open area test

Full Wave Computation of the Electromagnetic Field in Chaotic Reverberation Chambers
2019 International Conference on Electromagnetics in Advanced Applications (ICEAA), 2019The geometry deformation of a rectangular shaped reverberation chamber (RC) improves the field mixing and the chaoticity within the RC, in addition to traditional stirring techniques. We noted how the position and number of hemispherical diffractors affect the RC, evaluating their typical key performance parameter such as the number of uncorrelated ...

The thermal protection structure made of ceramic materials like C/C and C/SiC are currently adopted in hypersonic and vehicle reentry system. In particular, C/C is used for its capability of resistance to high temperature range. There are few studies in literature related to the electromagnetic characterization of C/C and C/SiC in microwave ranges ...

The Polarization Purity of the Electromagnetic Field in a Reverberating Chamber
IEEE Transactions on Electromagnetic Compatibility, 2016The quintessence of electromagnetic fields propagating in complex environments is its stochastic nature. The canonical test facility to emulate such a complex case is the reverberating chamber (RC). In order to design, test, and model the electromagnetic field in an RC, one must consider the vectorial nature of the field.
