Optically Bound Rapid Plasmonic Nanorod Dimers: Anisotropic Dynamics Driven by Light‐Fluidic Cooperation

open access: yesLaser &Photonics Reviews, EarlyView.
Optically confined gold nanorods exhibit cooperative light‐driven dynamics, forming mobile end‐to‐end dimers with orientation‐dependent propulsion. Using structured laser traps and an opto‐thermo‐hydrodynamic model, we uncover how optical binding, polarization‐induced torque, and near‐surface hydrodynamics govern their motion.

A Hybrid RF Coil for Whole‐Brain Imaging in Non‐Human Primates at 7 T

open access: yesMagnetic Resonance in Medicine, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Purpose Ultra‐high field MRI (≥ 7 T) offers unprecedented potential for mapping non‐human primate (NHP) brain function. However, complex electromagnetic systems are required to meet the challenges of UHF imaging and the mechanical demands of awake NHP studies.

Signal and Contrast Optimization With Predicted Excitations (SCOPE) for Accelerating Large FOV Body Imaging at UHF

open access: yesMagnetic Resonance in Medicine, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Purpose Large FOV turbo‐spin‐echo (TSE) imaging at ultra‐high field (UHF) remains challenging due to B1+ inhomogeneity and peak specific absorption rate (pSAR) limitations. This work presents a new time‐interleaved acquisition of modes (TIAMO) framework called SCOPE (Signal and Contrast Optimization with Predicted Excitations), which overcomes

Ultrasound‐Assisted Epoxy Resin Curing Monitored by Impedance Spectroscopy

open access: yesPolymer Engineering &Science, EarlyView.
Ultrasound enhances epoxy cure rates via localized heating without altering cure kinetics. Impedance spectroscopy provides a direct, non‐destructive measure of cure progression, enabling accurate mapping of degree of cure in real time. ABSTRACT Epoxy resins are widely used in aerospace and automotive manufacturing as structural adhesives and matrices ...
