Green Fuel Combustion Synthesis of CeO2 and Ag/CeO2 Nanoparticles for Photocatalytic and Antibacterial Applications

open access: yesAsia-Pacific Journal of Chemical Engineering, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Silver‐doped cerium oxide nanoparticles (Ag/CeO2 NPs) were synthesized using Ricinus communis seed extract as a bio‐derived fuel in a solution combustion method. The combustion reaction, carried out at 450°C with AgNO3 and (NH4)2[Ce (NO3)6] as metal precursors, produced CeO2 and Ag/CeO2 NPs.

Electromagnetic‐Like Generation of Unified‐Gauge Theories

Physics Essays, 1999
We carry out a critical analysis of the Maxwell electromagnetic theory, with emphasis on ifs "geometrical" features and gauge-theoretical properties. This allows us to single out five fundamental principles, which are at the very foundation of electromagnetism and can be used to build up any (electromagnetic-like) unified-gauge theory Such principles ...

A general theory of DC electromagnetic launchers

Journal of Applied Physics, 2015
The non-linear, transient operation of DC electromagnetic launchers (EMLs) complicates their theoretical understanding and prevents scaling studies and performance comparisons without the aid of detailed numerical models. This paper presents a general theory for DC electromagnetic launchers that has simplified these tasks by identifying critical EML ...
