Output Torque for Electromagnetic Harmonic Drive [PDF]
The operation principle of an electromagnetic harmonic drive is analyzed and its speed ratio equation is given. The equations of the displacements of the flexible ring under magnetic forces and the equations of the output torque between the flexible ring and rigid one are deduced.

Electromagnetic force and torque on magnetic and negative-index scatterers [PDF]
We derive the analytic expressions of the electromagnetic force and torque on a dipolar particle, with arbitrary dielectric permittivity and magnetic permeability. We then develop a general framework, based on the coupled dipole method, for computing the electromagnetic force and torque experienced by an object with arbitrary shape, dielectric ...

Assessment of torque components in brushless permanent-magnet machines through numerical analysis of the electromagnetic field [PDF]
For the calculation of torque in brushless (BL) alternating current motors a local method is proposed, based on the Maxwell stress theory and the filtered contributions due to the harmonics of the magnetic vector potential in the motor air gap.
