A MXene‐enhanced electrochemical sensor enables the rapid and direct detection of methamphetamine. Molecular simulations reveal that specific MXene surface functional groups act as key signal amplifiers by facilitating interfacial interactions. The sensor demonstrates high sensitivity and robust performance in complex biological matrices.

A neural network‐enabled permittivity engineering paradigm is introduced, transcending traditional trial‐and‐error design. By decoupling electromagnetic parameters and screening a high‐throughput feature space, an ultrathin (1.0 mm) magnetic absorber is inversely designed, experimentally achieving a superior and customizable 5.1 GHz bandwidth and ...

XOR‐Logic Phase Coding Programmable Metasurface for Low Power‐Consumption Systems
By leveraging XOR logic, the biasing‐network complexity of 2D programmable metasurfaces is reduced from m×n to m+n through efficient row‐column control. This enables versatile functions including beam deflection and beamforming, facilitating applications in wireless communications and beyond.

Tunable Sound Absorption via Evanescent‐Wave Coupling in Asymmetric Bilayer Metasurfaces
Tunable sound absorption is realized through a bilayer metasurface system governed by evanescent‐wave coupling. This work demonstrates that such evanescent‐wave coupling provides a controllable scattering channel that destructively interferes with the specular reflection.

We present a textile‐compatible, self‐healing liquid metal ink and a dual‐mask printing technique for high‐resolution patterning. Using this approach, we demonstrate high‐performance millimeter‐wave (mmWave) electronic textiles that exhibit exceptional insensitivity to deformation.

Terahertz resonances in crystalline heterostructures could close a spectral gap between conventional electronics and photonics while opening new windows on non‐equilibrium lattice dynamics. Femtosecond optical screening of the depolarization field in epitaxial PbTiO3/SrTiO3 superlattices launches a collective polar mode that oscillates near 1 THz and ...

Nonlinear Electromagnetic X Waves
Physical Review Letters, 2003Nonlinear optical media that are normally dispersive support a new type of localized (nondiffractive and nondispersive) wave packets that are X shaped in space and time and have slower than exponential decay. High-intensity X waves, unlike linear ones, can be formed spontaneously through a trigger mechanism of conical emission, thus playing an ...

The physical mechanism in the free-electron laser depends upon the propagation of an electron beam through a periodic magnetic field. Both incoherent and coherent radiation results from the undulatory motion of the electron beam in the external fields which permits a wave-particle coupling to the output radiation.

The growth of radio and other electromagnetic waves is considered in terms of the ion motions of Bailey's electromagneto-ionic theory, of a double electron stream and other factors. These conclusions are reached: (i) The electromagneto-ionic theory predicts spurious growing waves which do not correspond to any interchange of energy between gas and ...
