LAGRANGIANS FOR ELECTROMECHANICAL SYSTEMS
Electromechanical systems are very common. The importance of constructing the dynamical equations of motors coupled with mechanical systems suggests a new strategy. In the literature, often, the derivation of the dynamical equations is wrong. One thinks that the standard derivations of the dynamical equations of purely mechanical systems can be ...

Multi‐Stimuli Responsive Angstrom‐Scale Two‐Dimensional Channels of Natural Layered Materials
Å‐scale ion channels naturally formed within the interlayers of vermiculite clay enable ionic current modulation in response to mechanical, chemical, and electrical stimuli. Coupled pressure and electric fields induce reversible streaming current (Istream) polarity inversion, which is explained by a modified surface charge regulation model.
