Second-order QCD corrections to the thrust distribution in electron-positron annihilation. [PDF]
We compute the next-to-next-to-leading-order (NNLO) QCD corrections to the thrust distribution in electron-positron annihilation. The corrections turn out to be sizable, enhancing the previously known next-to-leading-order prediction by about 15 ...

From polymer to SiOC glass: structure, microstructure, mechanical, and thermal properties
Abstract The transformation of a methyl‐siloxane into a SiOC glass in Ar and reactive CO2 atmosphere was studied through positron annihilation spectroscopy, infrared spectroscopy, density, and calorimetric measurements, whereas the mechanical properties were monitored by nanoindentation and the thermal diffusivity measured by the laser flash method ...

Comment on “Nondispersive analytical solutions to the Dirac equation”
In our Comment we question the validity of the claim made by Campos and Cabrera [Phys. Rev. Res. 2, 013051 (2020)2643-156410.1103/PhysRevResearch.2.013051] that their solutions of the Dirac equation in an external time-dependent electromagnetic field ...

Abstract Background The backscatter contribution from the beam stopper to the exit‐side skin dose on the Halcyon and Ethos radiotherapy systems has not been studied, and this contribution cannot be separated by experimental methods. Purpose This study aimed to assess how the beam backscatter from the beam stopper contributes to the exit‐side skin dose.

MMAPS: Missing-Mass A-Prime Search
An experiment is proposed to search for dark photons via electron-positron annihilation into photon plus dark photon. The dark photon would be reconstructed in a missing-mass technique, thus ensuring complete model independent.

Microstructure and luminescent properties of Eu3+-activated MgGa2O4:Mn2+ ceramic phosphors
Mn2+ and the trivalent europium (Eu3+)-doped MgGa2O4 ceramics are characterized using a multi-experimental approach. The formation of spinel-structured ceramics is ascertained from X-ray diffraction (XRD) analysis.

Direct Imaging of Hydrogen‐Driven Dislocation and Strain Field Evolution in a Stainless Steel Grain
Using in situ Bragg coherent X‐ray diffraction imaging, 3D nanoscale strain maps of a stainless steel grain were measured during hydrogen charging. Results show dislocation relaxation and climb, elucidating the role of point defects in hydrogen‐modified deformation behavior.

Positron Annihilation Spectroscopy of Active Galactic Nuclei
A regular and random components in the fluxes of quanta and particles from AGN is investigated. We consider the diffuse component and detect radiative feedback after the passage of cosmic rays and quanta through AGN.

Interactions Between Active Matters and Endogenous Fields
This review synthesizes endogenous field information and computational methods in contexts such as cancer, wounds, and biofilms. It organizes NAMs and AAMs by sensing, transmitting, and executing functions, compares their limitations, and from these contrasts proposes design strategies for next‐generation AAMs, offering perspectives to foster ...
