Fermi surface determination from momentum density projections

open access: yesNew Journal of Physics, 2016
The problem of determining a metal’s Fermi surface from measured projections of the electron or electron/positron momentum densities, such as those obtained by Compton scattering or angular correlation of positron annihilation radiation, respectively, is

Defect Engineering in Semiconductor Photocatalysts: Enhancing Photocatalytic Activity for Green Energy Production

open access: yesAdvanced Energy and Sustainability Research, Volume 6, Issue 11, November 2025.
By creating anion and cation vacancies, scientists fine‐tune semiconductor bandgaps and extend light absorption, boosting charge separation in photocatalysts. Surface defects enhance reactant adsorption and carrier transport, while controlled bulk defects curb recombination.

Analysis of annihilation positron and electron and additional opportunities of the positron-emission tomography

open access: yesФизика волновых процессов и радиотехнические системы, 2014
The reasons of angular photon distribution occurrence at electron-positron annihilation are considered. It is shown, that angular photon distribution is consequence of Dopplers effect in the reference frame of the electron and positron mass center.

Positron Annihilation Studies on Chemically Synthesized FeCo Alloy

open access: yesScientific Reports, 2018
Equiatomic flower-like FeCo magnetic nanoparticles are synthesized through a modified one-pot polyol technique. The as-prepared samples are annealed at 700 and 800 °C under reducing atmosphere.

The impact of EDGES 21-cm data on dark matter interactions

open access: yesPhysics Letters B, 2019
The recently announced results on the 21-cm absorption spectrum by the EDGES experiment can place very stringent limits on dark matter annihilation cross sections.

Solid-state crystallization, oxygen-vacancy rich mesopores and stable triad-silanol nests in ZSM-5 catalyst induced by electron-beam irradiation and calcination

open access: yesJournal of Science: Advanced Materials and Devices
Mesopores and silanol nests are known two technological keys that essentially control the catalytic performance of ZSM-5 zeolite. However, designing and controlling them without using chemicals so that the produced ZSM-5 can have strongly enhanced ...

Electron-positron annihilation into heavy leptons at two loops

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics
We calculate the NNLO QED corrections to the C-even part of differential cross section of e + e − → μ + μ − process. We neglect power corrections in the electron mass and obtain the result in terms of Goncharov’s polylogarithms.

Double Charmonium Productions in Electron-Positron Annihilation Using Bethe-Salpeter Approach

open access: yesAdvances in High Energy Physics, 2019
We calculate the double charmonium production cross-section within the framework of 4×4 Bethe-Salpeter Equation in the electron-positron annihilation, at center of mass energy s=10.6GeV, that proceeds through the exchange of a single virtual photon.

About the creation of proton–antiproton pair at electron–positron collider in the energy range of ψ(3770) mass

open access: yesNuclear Physics B, 2014
The process of electron–positron annihilation into proton–antiproton pair is considered within the vicinity of ψ(3770) resonance. The interference between the pure electromagnetic intermediate state and the ψ(3770) state is evaluated.

Dark matter “transporting” mechanism explaining positron excesses

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2018
We propose a novel mechanism to explain the positron excesses, which are observed by satellite-based telescopes including PAMELA and AMS-02, in dark matter (DM) scenarios.
