On the Diffusion Rates of Electron Bounce Resonant Scattering by Magnetosonic Waves

open access: yesGeophysical Research Letters, 2018
Magnetosonic waves have been demonstrated as effective for bounce resonant scattering. Electron scattering rates due to bounce resonance interaction with magnetosonic waves are derived in a general form, where the effects of the finite Larmor radius, of ...

Electron-electron scattering processes in quantum wells in a quantizing magnetic field [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv
The processes of electron-electron scattering in a quantum well in a quantizing magnetic field are considered. The matrix of electron-electron scattering rates containing all types of transitions is calculated. This matrix is analysed, and the relative magnitude of the rates of transitions of different types is established.

The electric field of an electron in a electron-hole plasma with degenerate electrons [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2018
We consider the possibility of formation of a superconductivity state either in a semiconductor or in a electron-hole plasma with the degenerate electrons due to the attractive forces between the electrons as a result of the exchange effects through the electron-hole sound wave by analogy to the phonon waves in a solid state.

Clinical validation of myOSLchip: A beryllium oxide optically stimulated luminescent dosimeter (OSLD) system in radiotherapy dosimetry

open access: yesJournal of Applied Clinical Medical Physics, EarlyView.
Abstract In radiation oncology, inter‐fractional dosimetry using optically stimulated luminescent detectors (OSLDs) ensures accurate plan delivery and patient safety. RadPro International GmbH's myOLSchip system, featuring a beryllium oxide (BeO) OSL dosimeter, reader, and eraser, was characterized and calibrated with a Varian Truebeam for in‐vivo ...

Risk analysis of the Unity 1.5T MR‐Linac adapt‐to‐shape workflow

open access: yesJournal of Applied Clinical Medical Physics, EarlyView.
Abstract Background and Purpose The adapt‐to‐shape (ATS) workflow on the Unity MR‐Linac (Elekta AB, Stockholm, Sweden) allows for full replanning including recontouring and reoptimization5. Additional complexity to this workflow is added when the adaptation involves the use of MIM Maestro (MIM Software, Cleveland, OH) software in conjunction with ...
