Bio‐Inspired Artificial Ionic Mechanoreceptor

A skin‐inspired artificial mechanoreceptor based on ionic interactions is presented for biomimetic tactile sensing. Pressure‐driven ionic redistribution within microfluidic channels generates a self‐powered electrical signal without external bias. In lithium‐ion batteries, heat conduction varies between the through‐plane and in‐plane directions because of the cell's layered structure. Therefore, cell degradation influences thermal conductivity in each direction uniquely due to detailed microstructural and compositional changes.
