High bunch charge low-energy electron streak diffraction
For time-resolved diffraction studies of irreversible structural dynamics upon photoexcitation, there are constraints on the number of perturbation cycles due to thermal effects and accumulated strain, which impact the degree of crystal order and spatial

Integrating selective RNA shortcut, targeted gene isolation, and micro‐arrayed nanoimaging, the NanoPick‐array platform excels in detecting severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS‐CoV‐2) at just 60 copies µL−1 and accurately differentiating variants at the single‐nucleotide level. It ensures 100% accuracy for samples with cycle threshold (

Dynamic linkages are highly attractive in preparing single crystals of covalent organic polymers (COPs). Here, single crystals of two COPs CityU‐15 and CityU‐16 based on reversible B─N bonds are constructed using tetra(4‐pyridyl)tetrathiafulvalene and tetra(4‐pyridyl)porphine as monomers.

Preparation and analysis of strain-free uranium surfaces for electron and x-ray diffraction analysis [PDF]
This work describes a methodology for producing high quality metallic surfaces from uranium primarily for characterisation and investigations involving electron backscatter diffraction. Electrochemical measurements have been conducted to inform ideal polishing conditions to produce surfaces free from strain, induced by mechanical polishing.

In this study, a close correlation among the resting period, the cyclability of the zinc anode, and the evolution of byproduct zinc hydroxide sulfate (ZHS) is identified. Furthermore, it is shown that proper control of the interfacial ZHS can significantly enhance the cycle performance of the zinc anode by effectively inhibiting corrosion and promoting
