Effect of Piezoresistive Behavior on Electron Emission from Individual Silicon Carbide Nanowire [PDF]
The excellent properties of silicon carbide (SiC) make it widely applied in high-voltage, high-power, and high-temperature electronic devices. SiC nanowires combine the excellent physical properties of SiC material and the advantages of nanoscale ...

Ultralow Secondary Electron Emission of Graphene
In order to ensure that vacuum electronic devices work with high overall efficiency, it is required to use materials with low secondary electron emission to fabricate or coat collectors, grids, and envelope walls of the devices. We report that the secondary electron yields of monolayer graphenes are ultralow, comparable with the lowest yields of the ...

The analysis of features of occurrence of inertial explosion in problems of high-speed impact of metal penetrators into the studied celestial body and meteor-technogenic particles into elements of spacecraft [PDF]
The article discusses the features of the occurrence of an inertial explosion (IE) in the problems of high-speed impacts on a solid barrier of two types of impactors: metal penetrators into the studied celestial body for space contact scientific ...

Electron emission projection imager [PDF]
A new projection type imaging system is presented. The system can directly image the field emission site distribution on a cathode surface by making use of anode screens in the standard parallel plate configuration. The lateral spatial resolution of the imager is on the order of 1–10 μm.

Research progress in carbon nitride in field emission cold cathode materials
Carbon nitride has the advantages of excellent thermal stability, high thermal conductivity, larger forbidden band width and negative electron affinity. Therefore, carbon nitride is a promising field emission cathode material. On the basis of introducing

Field electron emission of double walled carbon nanotube film prepared by drop casting method [PDF]
Thick films of double walled carbon nanotubes (DWCN) were deposited on indium-tin-oxide (ITO) coated glass substrates by drop casting method and were studied for their field electron emission property in a parallel plate configuration using bare ITO ...
