Biophysical characterisation shows that NanX, a membrane transport protein from the major facilitator superfamily (MFS), forms both monomers and dimers after purification. AlphaFold modelling and substrate docking provide information on residues likely involved in substrate recognition for NanX and another MFS member, NanT.

GelMA‐based 3D spheroids recapitulate transcriptomic and functional hallmarks of myeloid sarcoma
GelMA 5% hydrogels support the formation of myeloid leukemia spheroids that recapitulate MS‐specific features, including G1 arrest, apoptosis, and ECM‐driven transcriptomic reprogramming. The 3D model mimicked soft‐tissue‐like stiffness and oxygen conditions, and transcriptomic convergence with primary MS samples confirmed its utility as a preclinical ...

Electron Impact Excitation of Atoms
Abstract : The experimental and theoretical literature about the electron impact excitation of atoms is reviewed. Theoretical methods ranging from the Bethe and Born approximations to the close coupling approximations are discussed and intercompared.

BCG vaccination potentiates oxidative phosphorylation in neonatal myeloid‐derived suppressor cells
BCG vaccination enhances oxidative phosphorylation in neonatal MDSCs, impairing their immunosuppressive function. It upregulates electron transport chain genes and mitochondrial activity, increasing ATP and oxygen consumption. Pharmacological OXPHOS inhibition partially restores suppressive capacity, confirming causality.

ABSTRACT Objective Facioscapulohumeral muscular dystrophy (FSHD) is one of the most debilitating and common muscular dystrophies. Despite its severity, no approved therapy exists for FSHD patients. However, several therapeutic candidates are currently under development, and some have recently entered clinical trials, marking the need for reliable ...

Electron-impact excitation of silver
We measure the differential cross sections (DCSs) for the electron-impact excitation of the combined (two fine-structure levels) resonant $4{d}^{10}5p\phantom{\rule{0.16em}{0ex}}^{2}P_{1/2,3/2}$ and $4{d}^{9}5{s}^{2}\phantom{\rule{0.16em}{0ex}}^{2}D_{5/2}$ states in silver from the $4{d}^{10}5s\phantom{\rule{0.16em}{0ex}}^{2}S_{1/2}$ ground state.

ErB4 and NdB4 nanostructured powders are produced by mechanochemical synthesis. 5 h mechanical alloying and 4 M HCl acid leaching are used in the production. ErB4 and NdB4 powders exhibit maximum magnetization of 0.4726 emu g−1 accompanied with an antiferromagnetic‐to‐paramagnetic phase transition at about TN = 18 K and 0.132 emu g−1 with a maximum at ...
