Polarizabilities as probes for P, T, and PT violation
Searches for violations of the fundamental symmetries of parity P and time reversal T in atomic and molecular systems provide a powerful tool for precise measurements of the physics of and beyond the standard model. In this work, we investigate how these

Determining the Width of the Dynamic Emission Zone in Light‐Emitting Electrochemical Cells
The width of the dynamically evolving emission zone (EZ) in light‐emitting electrochemical cells (LECs) is important since it has a strong influence on the emission efficiency. Here, a spectral simulation and measurement method is presented, which is utilized for the determination of the EZ width evolution during the initial operation of a common ...

Pseudo‐Dichroism: Nanophotonic Induction of Chiroptical Activity in Symmetric Molecular Systems
By analyzing vibrational circular dichroism (VCD) spectra of chiral nanomaterials, we distinguish genuine molecular chirality (true dichroism) from measurement artifacts (pseudo dichroism) using a novel, robust framework. The spectral criteria we establish apply broadly to all chiroptical techniques in nanomaterial research, enhancing precision in ...

Thermally Activated Delayed Fluorescence and Beyond. Photophysics and Material Design Strategies.
Photophysical properties of TADF molecules are determined by characteristic parameters that are discussed in detail(. Moreover, using femtosecond time‐resolved spectroscopy, quantum mechanical considerations, and state‐of‐art calculations, deeper understanding allows us to design breakthrough Cu(I) and organic TADF‐ OLED materials. For the latter ones,

A plasmonic reflective filter utilizing monolayer graphene is proposed and theoretically examined. The filter demonstrates dual‐band reflection and absorption characteristics at resonance wavelengths in the near infrared. The reflection dips is adjusted by manipulating the chemical potential of graphene.

A Trade‐Off between Pulse Energy and Stability in Seeded Free‐Electron Lasers
Seeded free‐electron lasers (FELs) require balancing competing factors for optimal performance. This work analyzes how dispersion strength influences output in high‐gain harmonic generation. Results reveal a trade‐off: maximizing pulse energy often comes at the cost of reduced stability and vice versa.
