Circularly Polarized Luminescence in Rotaxanes and Catenanes

This review highlights the chiral rotaxanes and catenanes possessing static or stimuli‐responsive circularly polarized luminescence (CPL) activity both in solution and in the solid state. It also discusses macromolecular and supramolecular CPL‐emissive materials derived from these mechanically interlocked molecules.

Robust Self‐Healing Metallo‐Supergels of Folic Acid: Potential Sustainable Gelator for Oilfield Applications

In combination with a large group of various metal salts folic acid (FA) forms mechanically robust metallogels with rapid recovery and self‐healing properties. These versatile gel systems provide tunable stiffness, with up to 95% of stiffness restored within 1 min.
