Neutrino dipole portal at electron colliders

open access: yesPhysics Letters B, 2022
We propose to search for a heavy neutral lepton (HNL), that is also known as sterile neutrino, in electron colliders running with the center-of-mass energies at few GeV, including BESIII, Belle II, and the proposed Super Tau Charm Factory (STCF).

Level anti-crossings of a nitrogen-vacancy center in diamond: decoherence-free subspaces and 3D sensors of microwave magnetic fields

open access: yesNew Journal of Physics, 2020
Nitrogen-vacancy (NV) centers in diamond have become an important tool for quantum technologies. All of these applications rely on long coherence times of electron and nuclear spins associated with these centers.

Magnetic‐Dielectric Complementary Fe‐Co‐Ni Alloy/Carbon Composites for High‐Attenuation C‐Band Microwave Absorption via Carbothermal Reduction of Solid‐Solution Precursor

open access: yesAdvanced Electronic Materials, 2023
Ferromagnetic alloys/carbon composites with excellent electrical and magnetic properties are highly desirable as electromagnetic wave absorption materials, but achieving high‐attenuation performance in C‐band (4–8 GHz) remains a challenge.

An Atomic Linear Stark Shift Violating P But Not T Arising From the Electroweak Nuclear Anapole Moment [PDF]

open access: yes, 2001
We propose a direct method of detection of the nuclear anapole moment. It is based on the existence of a linear Stark shift for alkali atoms in their ground state perturbed by a quadrupolar interaction potential and a magnetic field.

Advances in Radiative Heat Transfer: Bridging Far‐Field Fundamentals and Emerging Near‐Field Innovations

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This review synthesizes the evolution of radiative heat transfer, emphasizing the transition from far‐field to near‐field regimes. Traditional frameworks, such as Planck's law, are revisited alongside modern innovations like fluctuational electrodynamics. Applications span nanoscale thermal management, energy harvesting, and thermophotovoltaic systems.

The Physical Mechanism of Linear and Nonlinear Optical Properties of Nanographene-Induced Chiral Inversion

open access: yesMolecules
Based on density functional theory (DFT) and wave function analysis, the ultraviolet and visible spectrophotometry (UV-Vis) spectra and Raman spectra of 1-meso and 1-rac obtained by the chiral separation of chiral nanographenes are theoretically ...

Constraining CP-phases in SUSY: An interplay of muon/electron g − 2 and electron EDM

open access: yesNuclear Physics B, 2022
The minimal supersymmetric standard model (MSSM) with complex parameters can contribute sizably to muon/electron anomalous magnetic dipole moment (g−2) and electric dipole moment (EDM). The electron g−2 interplays with electron EDM; the muon g−2 can also

Muon and electron g − 2 and lepton masses in flavor models

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2020
The stringent experimental bound on μ → eγ is compatible with a simultaneous and sizable new physics contribution to the electron and muon anomalous magnetic moments (g − 2)ℓ (ℓ = e, μ), only if we assume a non-trivial flavor structure of the dipole ...

Distinctive Doping Behavior of Conjugated Polymers With Pendant‐Side Conjugation for Enhanced Thermoelectric Properties

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Novel conjugated polymers with side‐chain π‐conjugation are developed to enhance organic thermoelectric properties. Remarkably, the pendant doping in the conjugated polymers preserved strong intermolecular ordering in the film states even at high FeCl3 dopant concentrations (16 – 32 mM), achieving a promising power factor > 10 µW m−1 K−2 across a wide ...

Oriented Polar Molecules in a Solid Inert-Gas Matrix: A Proposed Method for Measuring the Electric Dipole Moment of the Electron

open access: yesAtoms, 2018
We propose a very sensitive method for measuring the electric dipole moment of the electron using polar molecules embedded in a cryogenic solid matrix of inert-gas atoms.
