Highlights from T2K

open access: yesEPJ Web of Conferences, 2014
T2K is a long baseline neutrino oscillation experiment. A high intensity proton beam at J-PARC produces a narrow-band muon-neutrino beam with a peak energy of 0.6 GeV at the far detector, Super-Kamiokande, 295km from the production point.

The gallium anomaly revisited

open access: yesPhysics Letters B, 2019
The gallium anomaly, i.e. the missing electron-neutrino flux from 37Ar and 51Cr electron-capture decays as measured by the GALLEX and SAGE solar-neutrino detectors, has been among us already for about two decades.

Sterile Neutrino Searches with MicroBooNE: Electron Neutrino Disappearance

open access: yes, 2021
A sterile neutrino is a well motivated minimal new physics model that leaves an imprint in neutrino oscillations. Over the last two decades, a number of hints pointing to a sterile neutrino have emerged, many of which are pointing near $m_4\sim1$ eV. Here we show how MicroBooNE data can be used to search for electron neutrino disappearance using each ...

On the Electron-Neutrino Angular Correlation [PDF]

open access: yesProgress of Theoretical Physics, 1953
The electron· neutrino angular correlation functions are calculated for the allowed 'and first forbidden tramitions in the Fermi theory of beta decay taking into account the effect of the nuclear charge. The interferences which arise due to squaring of terms . in the interaction are worked out perfectly.
