High filling of single wall carbon nanotubes (SWCNT) with C$_{60}$ and C$_{70}$ fullerenes in solvent is reported at temperatures as low as 69 $^{o}$C. A 2 hour long refluxing in n-hexane of the mixture of the fullerene and SWCNT results in a high yield ...

Plasmonic hybridization enables control of light emission in 2D van der Waals heterojunctions. By stacking multilayer GaSe and monolayer MoS2 on a silver film, light emission is enhanced at the edges due to plasmonic effects. In the center, where these effects are absent, charge transfer led to reduced light emission.

Spin noise of itinerant fermions
We develop a theory of spin noise spectroscopy of itinerant, noninteracting, spin-carrying fermions in different regimes of temperature and disorder. We use kinetic equations for the density matrix in spin variables. We find a general result with a clear

Magnetic defects in chemically converted graphene nanoribbons: electron spin resonance investigation
Electronic spin transport properties of graphene nanoribbons (GNRs) are influenced by the presence of adatoms, adsorbates and edge functionalization. To improve the understanding of the factors that influence the spin properties of GNRs, local (element ...

Nuclear Spin Noise and STM Noise Spectroscopy [PDF]
We consider fluctuations of the electronic spin due to coupling to nuclear spin. Noise spectroscopy of an electronic spin can be revealed in the Scanning Tunnelling Microscope (STM). We argue that the noise spectroscopy of electronic spin can reveal the nuclear spin dynamics due to hyperfine coupling.

A new alloy‐oxide vertically aligned nanocomposite (VAN) thin film with two immiscible non‐noble metal elements of Co and Cu embedded in BaTiO3 (BTO) matrix is designed and fabricated, which presents interesting magnetic, ferroelectric, and optical properties.
