Electronic traps in organic transport layers
physica status solidi (a), 2004The knowledge about properties of electronic traps in organic semiconductors is one of the major keys for the understanding and optimization of charge transport in organic devices. In the present article the density of occupied states of the most prominent pristine small molecule systems and selected polymers are reported determined, by fractional ...

Electron Injection and Transport Mechanisms of an Electron Transport Layer in OLEDs
Journal of The Electrochemical Society, 2011Electron injection and transport are key issues in the performance of organic light-emitting diodes (OLEDs). In this paper, an efficient n-doped electron transport layer (ETL) composed of 4,7-diphenyl-1,10-phenanthroline (Bphen) and lithium acetate (CH3COOLi) is demonstrated.

Electron transport in implant isolation GaAs layers
Microelectronics Reliability, 2003Abstract We report results of ac electrical characterisation of diode structures with Hg electrodes and an implant isolation layer formed on a n + GaAs substrate. The C – f and G – f characteristics at varying bias voltage between 0 and 10 V at room temperature were examined.

ELECTRON–PHONON SCATTERING AND ELECTRONIC TRANSPORT IN LAYERED STRUCTURES
International Journal of Modern Physics B, 2000The two-dimensional degenerate electron gas with electron–phonon scattering is analyzed. The normal-phase temperature dependence of the electrical resistivity and the thermo-electrical power are calculated, based on the electron–phonon scattering and other usual ones. Results are compared to those of earlier studies on three-dimensional phonon-limited

Electron transport and electroluminescence in polymer layers
Russian Chemical Reviews, 1994We shell discuss the transport of charge carriers (electron and holes) in disordered polymeric dielectric matrices and electroluminescence phenomena in transport layers of various structures, and also the injection of charges into transport layers through a boundary bearing a solid layer of a different type.

Ion Motion in Conjugated Polyelectrolyte Electron Transporting Layers
Journal of the American Chemical Society, 2007The time responses of polymer light-emitting diodes (PLEDs) incorporating conjugated polyelectrolyte electron transport layers (ETLs) are reported. Longer times are required with thicker ETL layers and with smaller applied voltages. These observations are consistent with a reduction of the electron injection barrier that depends on the ion motion in ...
