[Electroneuromyography in pediatric clinical neurology].

Zhurnal nevropatologii i psikhiatrii imeni S.S. Korsakova (Moscow, Russia : 1952), 1981
The diagnostic effectiveness of electroneuromyography in nervous and neuromuscular diseases at various periods of childhood is analyzed. The electroneuromyographic characteristics of the "floppy child" syndrome, natal traumatic humeral plexitis, syndromes of the strio-pallidar system affection and neuromuscular diseases are presented with reference to ...

Brucellosis: An electroneuromyography study

2019
It is known that peripheral nerve involvement may occur in brucellosis. A total of 24 patients with brucellosis underwent nerve conduction study in 4 extremities in this present study. Of the patients, 16 were women and 8 were men. The mean age was calculated to be 45.6 years.

[The electroneuromyography in diagnostics of the radial nerve injuries].

Khirurgiia, 2012
Basic difficulties of the adequate and precise electrophysiological examination of radial nerve injuries are traditionally conditioned by the impossibility to separate the muscle, isolated from the muscles, innervated by the ulnar or medial nerves. The phenomenon of flexor motor units potentials propagation by the stimulating electroneuromyography and ...

[The interest of electroneuromyography in peripheral facial palsy].

Annales de chirurgie plastique et esthetique, 2017
In case of peripheral facial palsy, electroneuromyogram of the facial nerve provides an indication of the nature (myelinic and/or axonal) and severity of nerve damage, thereby facilitating establishment of a prognosis, which is favorable for myelin damage, and guarded for severe axonal damage.

[Infrared thermography and electroneuromyography in occupational polyneuropathy diagnosis].

Meditsina truda i promyshlennaia ekologiia, 2014
We have evaluated diagnostic value of the combination of infrared thermography and electromyography in professional polyneuropathy diagnosis. 20 patients with working-hand syndrome and 5 controls were enrolled. In 18 cases (90%) both methods were sensitive: on EMG CNV slowing and amplitudes drop were seen, as well as M-response shape changes, and ...

[Guillain-Barré syndrome in infancy: The importance of electroneuromyography].

Archives de pediatrie : organe officiel de la Societe francaise de pediatrie, 2016
Guillain-Barré Syndrome (GBS) is rare in infancy, and the diagnosis of atypical forms is difficult in this age range. The main differential diagnoses include congenital neuropathy. Biological and electrophysiological investigations remain important to confirm diagnosis and start treatment quickly.
