An in vivo radiographic evaluation of the accuracy of Apex and iPex electronic Apex locators [PDF]
The aim of this study was to evaluate in vivo the clinical applicability of two electronic apex locators (EALs) - Apex (Septodont) and iPex (NSK) - in different groups of human teeth by using radiography. The working lengths (WLs) of 100 root canals were determined electronically.

An in vitro evaluation of the WIRELE‐x electronic apex locator
AbstractThis study evaluated the accuracy of the Wirele‐X (Forum Tec, Ashkelon, Israel), a novel Bluetooth‐enabled wireless electronic apex locator. Thirty‐one extracted teeth with mature apices were used. Under 10X magnification, the actual canal lengths were determined.

Accuracy of three electronic apex locators in the presence of different irrigating solutions
The present study compared the accuracy of three electronic apex locators (EALs) - Elements Diagnostic®, Root ZX® and Apex DSP® - in the presence of different irrigating solutions (0.9% saline solution and 1% sodium hypochlorite).

Chiral Phase Change Nanomaterials
This work demonstrates reversible, non‐volatile phase transitions in chiral Ge2${\rm Ge}_2$Sb2${\rm Sb}_2$Te5${\rm Te}_5$ (GST) nanohelices for high‐speed optical modulation of chirality and dynamic control of the state of polarization (SOP). The chiral nanostructures are fabricated using a highly directional, wafer‐scale physical vapor deposition ...

Effect of Various Electronic Devices on the Performance of Electronic Apex Locator.
Apex locators are important devices that can be used to determine working length during root canal treatment. However, it is not known whether electronic devices with various wave length frequencies influence the accuracy of apex locators. The aim of this study was to determine whether a cordless phone set, MP4 player, FM radio, asymmetric digital ...

Dopant Distribution in Ga‐Implanted CdO—A Correlative Microscopy and Molecular Dynamics Study
This work demonstrates that ion implantation offset angle could modulate carrier concentration and mobility in cadmium oxide thin films. Combining correlative microscopy workflow and molecular dynamics simulations, this study reveals the control of interfacial cluster density with tailoring implantation angles, and the optimum offset angle that ...
