Adolescents’ Electronic Cigarette Use [PDF]
According to a recent study published by Audrain-McGovern et al,1 electronic cigarette (e-cigarette) use and the risk of initiating marijuana use is 3.63 times higher among current adolescent e-cigarette users (odds ratio 3.63; 95% confidence interval 2.69–4.90).1 Accumulating evidence suggests that e-cigarette use is a risk factor for future ...

Macrophage Extracellular Traps in Immunity and Cancer
As a macrophage‐mediated innate defense mechanism, the dysregulated release of METs drives chronic inflammation and influences tumor progression. Furthermore, METs exhibit a functional duality within the tumor microenvironment, capable of both promoting and suppressing tumor development.

The Effect of Electronic Cigarette User Modifications and E-liquid Adulteration on the Particle Size Profile of an Aerosolized Product [PDF]
Electronic cigarettes (e-cigarettes) are an alternate nicotine delivery system that generate a condensation aerosol to be inhaled by the user. The size of the droplets formed in the aerosol can vary and contributes to drug deposition and ultimate ...

Post‐Translational Regulation of CD8+ T Cell Fate and Dysfunction in Tumor Immunity
This review delineates how post‐translational modifications (PTMs) function as a central regulatory interface governing CD8+ T cell activation, differentiation, persistence, and exhaustion in antitumor immunity. By integrating antigenic, metabolic, and microenvironmental cues, diverse PTM programs coordinate transcriptional and chromatin states that ...

E-cigarettes: A novel measure for the expectancies of e-cigarette use as directly compared to cigarette use [PDF]
poster abstractBackground: Electronic cigarettes (e-cigs) were created as an alternative to cigarettes and approximate the look and experience of smoking a cigarette (American Cancer Society, 2014). E-cigs are often marketed as having fewer health risks
