A Different Perspective on the Solid Lubrication Performance of Black Phosphorous: Friend or Foe?
Researchers investigate black phosphorous (BP) as a standalone solid lubricant coating through ball‐on‐disc linear‐reciprocating sliding experiments in dry conditions. Testing on different metals shows BP doesn't universally reduce friction and wear. However, it achieves 33% friction reduction on rougher iron surfaces and 23% wear reduction on aluminum.

The Electronic Health Record "Toolbox." [PDF]
I can't imagine that it will ever be easy to care for multiproblem, chronically ill patients; I suspect that such patients will always be a challenge. However, effective use of a system like KP HealthConnect can help us to be more organized and more focused in this care and can help us in the often very difficult, time-consuming task of reviewing the ...

Tracking Referents in Electronic Health Records [PDF]
Electronic Health Records (EHRs) are organized around two kinds of statements: those reporting observations made, and those reporting acts performed. In neither case does the record involve any direct reference to what such statements are actually about.

The share of technical thermoplastics is expected to grow further in the e‐mobility segment. In this study, a detailed temperature‐based tribological characterization of technical thermoplastics is performed. The tribological properties are discussed in terms of the dynamic mechanical properties of polymers at different ambient temperatures. A proof of

Deep Learning for Electronic Health Records Analytics
Recent technological advancements have led to a deluge of medical data from various domains. However, the recorded data from divergent sources comes poorly annotated, noisy, and unstructured. Hence, the data is not fully leveraged to establish actionable

The Electronic Oral Health Record
AbstractThis paper presents the history of the use of the computer for maintaining patient medical care information. An electronic record generated with a computer, which is non-specific for any healthcare specialty, is referred to as the electronic health record.
