Spline Based Electronic Modelling

Applied Numerical Analysis & Computational Mathematics, 2004
Abstract“Without Mathematics almost everything is zilch”, a scientific maxim, is the kernel for this mathematical piece of research. The basic notion is to formulate mathematical models for devices and circuits deployed in state of the art electronic gadgets.

Modeling-based printed electronics characterization

Proceedings of the 2012 IEEE International Symposium on Antennas and Propagation, 2012
A wide-band characterization process for printed electronics materials is presented. A parallelized 2-D eigenmode solver is developed and successfully applied to extract actual material parameter values from measurements. This information is critical for both process development and modeling-based design.

Modeling the electron density kernels

Journal of Computational Chemistry, 2011
AbstractExisting approximation to the softness kernel, successfully explored in earlier work, has been extended; the normal Gauss distribution function has been used instead of the Dirac delta. The softness kernel becomes continuous functions in space and may be used to calculate the linear response function of the electron density.

Models of Fast-Electron Penetration

Radiation Research, 1994
We introduce multiple scattering models of charged-particle penetration which are based on the previous analyses of Yang and Perry (Radiat. Res. 115, 26-43, 1988). Our development removes the main limitations of the Fermi-Eyges approach while retaining its considerable potential as a theory which is useful for applied work.

Power Electronics Modeling

2012
Photovoltaic generators are almost always associated with some control and power electronics. Even in the case of a direct connection between a solar array and a battery, a non-return diode is needed. Generally, more complex power electronic converters are needed in order to adapt the electrical frequency and voltage level to the planned use.
