The Triglyceride‐Glucose Index Combined With Obesity Indices and Lower Extremity Artery Disease in Type 2 Diabetes: A Sex‐Stratified Analysis

open access: yesEndocrinology, Diabetes &Metabolism, Volume 9, Issue 4, July 2026.
TyG‐BMI demonstrated the highest discriminative ability for lower extremity artery disease (LEAD) in patients with T2DM (AUC = 0.623), outperforming the TyG index and other obesity‐combined indices. Its performance was notably better in males (AUC = 0.660).

Femoral offset aimer use is not associated with improved anatomic accuracy in hamstring ACL reconstruction: A 3D‐CT study

open access: yesJournal of Experimental Orthopaedics, Volume 13, Issue 3, July 2026.
Postoperative 3D‐CT assessment of femoral and tibial tunnel positioning after hamstring ACL reconstruction. The femoral offset aimer was associated with a more posterior femoral tunnel position, but did not improve anatomic accuracy; surgeon experience showed no association with tunnel accuracy.

All‐inside meniscal repair using polyether ether ketone versus all‐suture anchors: No difference in failure rates at three‐follow‐up in a retrospective cohort of 2253 patients

open access: yesKnee Surgery, Sports Traumatology, Arthroscopy, Volume 34, Issue 7, Page 2427-2432, July 2026.
Abstract Purpose To compare mid‐term failure rates of next‐generation all‐inside meniscal repair using polyether ether ketone (PEEK) anchors versus all‐suture anchors in a large patient cohort. The null hypothesis was that there would be no difference in failure rates between PEEK and all‐suture anchors.
