Deposition of Chiral Heptahelicene Molecules on Ferromagnetic Co and Fe Thin-Film Substrates

open access: yesNanomaterials, 2022
The discovery of chirality-induced spin selectivity (CISS), resulting from an interaction between the electron spin and handedness of chiral molecules, has sparked interest in surface-adsorbed chiral molecules due to potential applications in spintronics,

Hydrogen Peroxide Electrochemical Sensor Based on Ag/Cu Bimetallic Nanoparticles Modified on Polypyrrole

open access: yesSensors, 2023
Due to the strong oxidizing properties of H2O2, excessive discharge of H2O2 will cause great harm to the environment. Moreover, H2O2 is also an energetic material used as fuel, with specific attention given to its safety.

Electronic properties of dislocations [PDF]

open access: yesApplied Physics A, 2015
Dislocations are one-dimensional crystal defects. Their dimension characterize the defects as nanostructures (nanowires). Measurements on defined dislocation arrays proved numerous exceptional electronic properties. A model of dislocations as quantum wires is proposed.

Heat capacities and thermal expansion coefficients of iron triad metals

open access: yesКонденсированные среды и межфазные границы, 2023
One of the complex problems relating to the thermodynamics of a substance is creating an adequate description of its thermal properties. For example, the Einstein and Debye models (as well as in various modifications of these models) the heat capacity is

Electronic properties of UCuSn [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Applied Physics, 1996
Crystallographic analysis shows that UCuSn does not form in the hexagonal CaIn2 structure as reported previously, but is an ordered ternary compound and forms in an orthorhombic structure (space group: P21cn). Bulk and neutron-diffraction measurements reveal that UCuSn orders antiferromagnetically below 62 K.
