Vibration phase mapping using electronic speckle pattern interferometry

Applied Optics, 1976
The contours of constant phases across sinusoidally vibrating objects have been mapped using reference wave phase modulation in time-average electronic speckle pattern interferometry.

Electronic speckle pattern interferometry using digital image processing techniques

Applied Optics, 1980
The use of digital image processing techniques for electronic speckle pattern interferometry is discussed. A digital TV-image processing system with a large frame memory allows us to perform precise and flexible operations such as subtraction, summation, and level slicing. Digital image processing techniques make it easy compared with analog techniques

Multiplicative electronic speckle-pattern interferometry fringes

Applied Optics, 2000
A theoretical analysis of fringe patterns and its experimental corroboration obtained by multiplication of two speckled images with electronic speckle-pattern interferometry (ESPI) are reported. A specifically designed digital filter is used to enhance the contrast and visibility of the inherently noisy multiplication fringes.

Electronic speckle pattern interferometry using vortex beams

Optics Letters, 2011
We show that it is possible to perform electronic speckle pattern interferometry (ESPI) using, for the first time to our knowledge, vortex beams as the reference beam. The technique we propose is easy to implement, and the advantages obtained are, among others, environmental stability, lower processing time, and the possibility to switch between ...
