Sources and propagation of errors in quantitative phase imaging techniques using optical interferometry [PDF]
Quantitative phase imaging (QPI) has many applications in a broad range of disciplines from astronomy to microbiology. QPI is often performed by optical interferometry, where two coherent beams of light are used to produce interference patterns at a ...

Depth‐Invariant High‐Resolution Optical Coherence Tomography Angiography
Optical coherence tomography angiography (OCTA) has become an indispensable tool for visualizing and quantifying in vivo blood flow due to its motion‐contrast‐based label‐free flow detection capabilities. However, in various applications, its effectiveness is hindered by signal degradation due to scattering, absorption, and depth‐dependent defocus ...

Cinnamic‐hydroxamic‐acid derivatives (CHADs) are identified as novel inhibitors of the bacterial nucleoid‐associated protein HU, exhibiting potent antibacterial, anti‐biofilm (both inhibition and eradication), and DNA relaxation (anti‐supercoiling) activities. Moreover, CHADs demonstrate strong synergistic effects with multiple antibiotics.
