Singularities in Speckled Speckle: Statistics [PDF]
Random optical fields with two widely different correlation lengths generate far field speckle spots that are themselves highly speckled. We call such patterns speckled speckle, and study their critical points (singularities and stationary points) using analytical theory and computer simulations.

Speckle interferometry at the Blanco and SOAR telescopes in 2008 and 2009 [PDF]
The results of speckle interferometric measurements of binary and multiple stars conducted in 2008 and 2009 at the Blanco and SOAR 4-m telescopes in Chile are presented. A total of 1898 measurements of 1189 resolved pairs or sub-systems and 394 observations of 285 un-resolved targets are listed.

High precision dynamic multi-interface profilometry with optical coherence tomography [PDF]
Optical coherence tomography (OCT) has mostly been used for high speed volume imaging but its profilometry potentials have not been fully exploited. This paper demonstrates high precision (as good as ~50nm) multi-interface profilometry using a Fourier ...

New methods for masked-aperture and speckle interferometry [PDF]
Diffraction-limited images can be obtained with a large optical telescope using interferometry. One such method for objects of sufficient brightness is non-redundant masking (NRM), in which observations are made through a pupil mask that contains an array of small holes. However, NRM only uses a small fraction of the available light.
