An Adaptive Electronic Hybrid Transformer

IEEE Transactions on Communications, 1972
A hybrid transformer is used to couple simultaneously both a transmitter and a receiver to the same end of a telephone line with minimum crosstalk. Under ideal circumstances the transformer provides a cancellation signal at the input terminals of the receiver to exactly cancel the signal induced by the local transmitter.

Power electronics transforms aircraft systems

Proceedings of WESCON '94, 2002
This paper describes the secondary power sources available on a large transport aircraft and discusses expectation that power electronics will enable the transforming of present aircraft systems into new highly integrated systems. The benefits expected from integrating all of the engine-based hydraulic and pneumatic power sources into a single ...

Electronically Induced Phase Transformations

1980
Abstract : A new technique for determining the electronic structure of bulk solids has been developed by solving Poisson's equation for a general charge density and potential. All contributions to the potential are completely taken into account in the Hamiltonian matrix elements.

Electronically compensated current transformer modelling

Measurement, 1995
The behaviour of electronically compensated current transformers is examined with reference to a model valid for frequencies ranging from industrial to ultra-acoustic both in steady-state and in transient conditions. The influence of the hysteresis and saturation effects is evidenced.

The transformation of electronic communications

Electrical Engineering, 1959
A DIFFICULTY FACING all of us who summarize various portions of technological history in the past quarter century for this anniversary issue of Electrical Engineering is the utter distortion of the once comfortable relationship between time and technical progress. In a previous generation, the historian assigned himself a century or more of engineering
