Transformational Silicon Electronics

ACS Nano, 2014
In today's traditional electronics such as in computers or in mobile phones, billions of high-performance, ultra-low-power devices are neatly integrated in extremely compact areas on rigid and brittle but low-cost bulk monocrystalline silicon (100) wafers. Ninety percent of global electronics are made up of silicon.

Transformation of Muons into Electrons

Physical Review Letters, 1959
It is shown for a certain class of interactions which might be expected to induce mu -e transformations that the similarity of the mu and e actually forbids the transformations. (C.J.G.)

Transformation of Mesotrons into Electrons

Nature, 1940
EVIDENCE for the transformation of mesotrons into electrons was recently reported in these columns1. This was obtained by the use of the cloud chamber, and consisted in the observation of a fast electron track emanating from the end of the track of a mesotron.
