Transformation electronics: Tailoring the effective mass of electrons
The speed of integrated circuits is ultimately limited by the mobility of electrons or holes, which depend on the effective mass in a semiconductor. Here, building on an analogy with electromagnetic metamaterials and transformation optics, we describe a transport regime in a semiconductor superlattice characterized by extreme anisotropy of the ...

Digital Transformation, Systemic Design, and Automotive Electronics [Automotive Electronics] [PDF]
Digital transformation, systemic Design, and automotive electronics cars are moving beyond simple automation car makers have gone beyond automation to create a new type of digital plant, which produces more than 100 million lines of code for each connected vehicle. This will change the way the industry works, moving from old practices and traditions to

Evolutionarily divergent DUF4465 domains have a common vitamin B12‐binding function
We show that DUF4465 family proteins, widespread across bacteria from gut microbiomes, hydrothermal vents, and soil, share a common vitamin B12‐binding function. These augmented β‐jellyroll proteins bind vitamin B12 via extended loops. Our findings establish sequence‐diverse DUF4465 proteins as a widespread class of B12‐binding proteins, highlighting ...

In a murine model of myocardial ischemia and reperfusion (MI/R), the CD36 azapeptide ligand MPE‐298 reduces cardiac injury and transiently lowers left ventricular long‐chain fatty acids (LCFAs) accumulation 3 h after reperfusion, accompanied by a decrease of oxidative stress and inflammation‐associated genes' expression in the heart and adipose tissue.

Multiple Fano Resonances with Tunable Electromagnetic Properties in Graphene Plasmonic Metamolecules
Multiple Fano resonances (FRs) can be produced by destroying the symmetry of structure or adding additional nanoparticles without changing the spatial symmetry, which has been proved in noble metal structures.
