Electrophoretic deposition of porous hydroxyapatite scaffold
Biomaterials, 2003Bioactive porous hydroxyapatite (HA) scaffold was fabricated using electrophoretic deposition (EPD) technique in the present work. Bulk HA scaffold was achieved by repeated deposition. The green scaffold was sintered at 1200 degrees C to 82% of the theoretical density.

Oriented Electrophoretic Deposition of GdOCl Nanoplatelets
The Journal of Physical Chemistry B, 2012Electrophoretic deposition has emerged as a versatile and precisely tunable approach for the rapid deposition of conformal thin films of colloidal nanocrystals. The electrophoretic deposition of phosphor particles has assumed special significance in recent years as a commercially viable means toward the fabrication of large-area, ultrathin high ...

Selective Deposition of Hydroxyapatite Nanoparticles by Electrophoretic Deposition
Advanced Engineering Materials, 2003Hydroxyapatite deposits with a polycrystalline, crack‐free surface (see Figure for an SEM microimage) on stainless steel 316L substrates were obtained by a novel electrophoretic deposition (EPD) process. The procedure applies high voltage for very short times (0.5 to 1 s) thus avoiding structural agglomeration phenomena which prevail after 3 to 4 ...

Effect of Deposition Parameters on Electrophoretically Deposited TiO2
Research & Reviews: Journal of Material Sciences, 2016In the current study, TiO2 coatings on stainless steel substrates were prepared by Electrophoretic Deposition (EPD) of colloidal dispersions of TiO2 nanoparticles in ethanol. The effects of deposition parameters on surface morphology, phase composition and mechanical properties were investigated.
