Polyanilines from electropolymerization of azobenzene
Journal of Electroanalytical Chemistry and Interfacial Electrochemistry, 1989Abstract When azobenzene was oxidized above 1.4 V in NH4F.2.3 HF solution, followed by oxidation and reduction cycling between −0.2 and 0.9 V (vs. Cu/CuF2), a new polymer was obtained which did not contain nitrogen-nitrogen bonds, but exhibited a polyaniline-like behaviour.

Reductive electropolymerization of 2,5-dichlorobenzonitrile
Journal of the Chemical Society, Chemical Communications, 1994Reductive electropolymerization of 2,5-dichlorobenzonitrile gives an electroactive polymer showing n-doping, which suggests that the polymer may be useful as a charge storage material; the polymer is identified as poly(benzonitrile-2,5-diyl).

Optical properties of electropolymerized polyparaphenylene
Synthetic Metals, 1987Abstract We present an optical study of polyparaphenylene samples polymerized by electoreduction of 4-4′ dibromo-biphenyl. By elemental analysis, a smaller amount of remaining bromine atoms is found with respect to PPP samples synthesized by the “Yamamoto” procedure.

Electropolymerization of polyaniline thin films
High Performance Polymers, 2014Polyaniline (PANI) thin films have been electrochemically synthesized onto conducting glass substrates. The current study demonstrates that the properties of PANI films depend on the concentration of dopant acid. Well-adherent PANI coatings were obtained under potentiodynamic conditions during sequential scanning of the potential region between −0.35 ...

Deposition of Enzymes by Electropolymerization
1991A significant problem in the large scale application of enzymes and other proteins for the development of microscale biosensors is the difficulty in fabricating uniform and reproducible coatings containing the active protein (Wingard, 1990b). With emphasis on biosensor miniaturization as well as the utilization of many types of biological materials in ...
