Pion photo- and electroproduction in relativistic baryon ChPT

open access: yesEPJ Web of Conferences, 2014
We present a calculation of pion photo- and electroproduction in manifestly Lorentz-invariant baryon chiral perturbation theory up to and including order q4. We fix the low-energy constants by fitting experimental data in all available reaction channels.

Electroexcitation of the Δ+(1232) at low momentum transfer

open access: yesPhysics Letters B, 2016
We report on new p(e,e′p)π∘ measurements at the Δ+(1232) resonance at the low momentum transfer region, where the mesonic cloud dynamics is predicted to be dominant and rapidly changing, offering a test bed for chiral effective field theory calculations.

Photo- and electroproduction of $K^{+}\Lambda$ with unitarity-restored isobar model

open access: yes, 2018
Exploiting the isobar model, kaon photo- and electroproduction on the proton in the resonance region comes under scrutiny. An upgrade of our previous model, comprising higher-spin nucleon and hyperon exchanges in the consistent formalism, was ...

A Bio‐Inspired Dendritic MoOx Electrocatalyst for Efficient Electrochemical Nitrate Reduction to Ammonia

open access: yesAdvanced Energy Materials, Volume 14, Issue 37, October 4, 2024.
A bio‐inspired, reduced molybdenum oxide catalyst supported on a dendritic nickel foam core (MoOx/NiNF) is reported. The MoOx/NiNF electrocatalyst displays faradaic efficiencies (FE) of up to 99% for the reduction of nitrate to ammonia and maintains an average FE of ≈83% for over 3100 h of operation at −650 mA cm−2.

Universality in the Electroproduction of Vector Mesons

open access: yes, 2009
We study universality in the electroproduction of vector mesons using a unified nonperturbative approach which has already proved to reproduce extremely well the available experimental data.

Recent developments in the dynamical and unitary isobar models for pion electromagnetic production [PDF]

open access: yes, 2001
gamma N->Delta transition form factors and threshold pi^0 photo- and electroproduction are studied with the new version of MAID and a dynamical model. By re-analyzing the recent Jlab data on p(e,e'p) pi^0 at Q^2 = 2.8 and 4.0 (GeV/c)^2, we find that the ...

Gluon radiation in diffractive electroproduction [PDF]

open access: yesNuclear Physics B, 1997
Order $ _s$-corrections to the diffractive structure functions $F_L^D$ and $F_2^D$ at large $Q^2$ and small $x$ are evaluated in the semiclassical approach, where the initial proton is treated as a classical colour field. The diffractive final state contains a fast gluon in addition to a quark-antiquark pair.

Exclusive π− Electroproduction off the Neutron in Deuterium in the Resonance Region

open access: yesEPJ Web of Conferences, 2016
The goal of our research is to provide the exclusive γ*(n) → p+π− reaction cross section from deuterium data using the correction factor that account for the final state re-scattering that can be determined from the data set itself.

Probing the partonic structure of exotic particles in hard electroproduction

open access: yes, 2005
We argue that the electroproduction of exotic particles is a useful tool for study of their partonic structure. In the case of hybrid mesons, the magnitude of their cross sections shows that they are accessible for measurements in existing ...
