Effects of Electric Pulse Current on the Aging Kinetics of 2219 Aluminum Alloy
The conventional aging experiments and the low density electric pulse current (LDEPC for short) added aging experiments, with the self‐made positive and negative alternating pulse power equipment, were conducted to study the influence of LDEPC on the dynamics of phase transformation in 2219 aluminum alloy by means of measuring the variation of hardness

Cardiovascular disease is the leading worldwide cause of death. Apolipoprotein E (ApoE) is a 34‐kDa circulating glycoprotein, secreted by the liver and macrophages with pleiotropic antiatherogenic functions and hence a candidate to treat hypercholesterolaemia and atherosclerosis.

Effect of electropulsing on austenite to ferrite transformation in low-carbon steel
We explore the application of electropulsing for the control of phase transformation in a low-carbon steel. The effect of electropulsing on the transformation from austenite to ferrite in continuous casting low-carbon steel slab has been studied through ...

Theoretical foundations of electropulse impact on plant objects
Abstract This article considers the theoretical foundations of the electropulse effect on plant objects. The influence of the energy absorbed by a living system on the degree of damage to plant cells and tissues is studied. It has been established that the impact of many damaging factors accompanying a high-voltage electrical impulse ...

Drug delivery by electropulsation: Recent developments in oncology
Electro-permeabilisation allows the free access of polar compounds to the cytoplasm by a reversible alteration of the cell membrane. It is now used in clinics for the eradication of cutaneous solid tumors. New developments predict its future applications for other anti-cancer treatments.

Electropulsation as an alternative method for protein extraction from yeast [PDF]
The application of series of high intensity electric pulses to a yeast suspension provoked a considerable release of some cytoplasmic proteins, glutathione reductase, 3-phosphoglycerate kinase and alcohol dehydrogenase. A maximal yield was achieved 3-8 h after pulsation.
