The topology of the electroweak interaction

Journal of Mathematical Physics, 2005
In this paper we show that the Higgs boson of the (minimal) standard model has at most three gauge inequivalent ground states. One of these states is related to ordinary electromagnetism and the other two to electromagnetism within magnetically charged vacua.

Electroweak Interactions and Neutrinos

2016
In this chapter we discuss electroweak interactions from the phenomenological point of view, which is also more closely related to its historical development. Special emphasize will be put on neutrino physics since it plays an important role in high energy astroparticle physics as will be developed in detail in part IV.

Electroweak interactions with nuclei

AIP Conference Proceedings, 1984
Selected electron scattering applications and tests of the Standard Model involving semileptonic weak interactions with nuclei are discussed. The current picture of strong and electroweak interactions in the nucleus is examined.

Electroweak Interactions of Leptons

1999
We will now use the knowledge gained from the model-building in Chap. 9 to construct a theory of the weak and the electromagnetic interactions of physical particles. In this first chapter we will consider only the interactions between leptons, restricting for simplicity ourselves first to a treatment of the electron and its neutrino.

Electroweak Interactions of Quarks

1999
So far we have considered only electroweak interactions between the leptons. In this chapter we will now extend this discussion to processes involving hadrons.

Electroweak Interactions on Toponium

1985
A heavy Q\(\bar Q\) resonance such as toponium can be a fascinating laboratory for the study of electroweak interactions. We describe the branching pattern of toponium decay, and discuss some special features connected with γ-Z interference, γ-Z-W interference, neutrino counting and single-quark decay.

Electroweak Interactions of Kaons

2020
Analytical expressions for electromagnetic form factors of the charged and neutral K mesons have been obtained in the Quark Confinement Model (QCM). The contribution from the direct diagrams, as well as that one from the intermediate vector states in the form factors are examined.
