ELECTROWEAK PRECISION PHYSICS FROM LEP TO LHC AND ILC

International Journal of Modern Physics A, 2009
Electroweak precision physics is reviewed from the LEP era with implications for Higgs bosons and supersymmetry, together with expectations for the LHC and a future Linear Collider ILC.

Accuracy complements energy: electroweak precision tests at Tera-Z

Journal of High Energy Physics
A Tera-Z factory, such as FCC-ee or CEPC, will have indirect sensitivity to heavy new physics up to the tens of TeV scale through higher-order loop contributions to precision measurements at the Z pole.

Electroweak Physics: Precision Studies

AIP Conference Proceedings, 2006
The utility of precision electroweak measurements for predicting the Standard Model Higgs mass via quantum loop effects is discussed. Current values of mW, sin2 θW(mZ)MS and mt imply a relatively light Higgs which is below the direct experimental bound but possibly consistent with Supersymmetry expectations.

Precision electroweak experiments and heavy physics: An update

Physical Review D, 1991
We update our previous global analysis of weak neutral current and {ital Z} and {ital W} data in which the parameters {ital h}{sub {ital V}} and {ital h}{sub {ital A}} associated with new heavy physics were constrained, by incorporating recent results on {ital Z} properties and {ital M}{sub {ital W}}.

Precision electroweak experiments and heavy physics: A global analysis

Physical Review Letters, 1990
The radiative corrections of heavy degenerate and nondegenerate electroweak multiplets do not decouple from low-energy experiments. Their effects can be parametrized in a general renormalization-scheme-independent way. For isospin-breaking ${\mathit{h}}_{\mathit{V}}$ and chiral-breaking ${\mathit{h}}_{\mathit{A}\mathit{Z}}$ and ${\mathit{h}}_{\mathit{A}

Probing new physics with precise electroweak tests

AIP Conference Proceedings, 1992
Tests of the electroweak theory are becoming precise enough to shed light on new physics which contributes to radiative corrections. It is shown how the top quark and Higgs masses and other possible features of new physics are sensitive to each experiment and a framework is given for judging the potential impact of new tests.
