A high integration electrowetting displays system based on AC driving model
As a representative of new reflective display technology, the electrowetting display (EWD) has been widely accepted for its good advantages in power consumption control and display contrast. Because of charge trapping and contact angle hysteresis, static

Closest‐Packed Pixel Structure Preparation and Driving Optimization for Electrowetting Displays
This paper pioneers the preparation of hexagonal‐pixel Electrowetting Displays (EWDs) based on dense tiling principles. Compared to square pixels, they reduce the threshold voltage by 42.67% and the voltage required for maximum aperture ratio by 13.94%.
