LLT polynomials, elementary symmetric functions and melting lollipops [PDF]
AbstractWe conjecture an explicit positive combinatorial formula for the expansion of unicellular LLT polynomials in the elementary symmetric basis. This is an analogue of the Shareshian–Wachs conjecture previously studied by Panova and the author in 2018.

The equivalence of two graph polynomials and a symmetric function [PDF]
The U-polynomial, the polychromate and the symmetric function generalization of the Tutte polynomial due to Stanley are known to be equivalent in the sense that the coefficients of any one of them can be obtained as a function of the coefficients of any ...

On orthogonal polynomials and related discrete integrable systems [PDF]
Orthogonal polynomials arise in many areas of mathematics and have been the subject of interest by many mathematicians. In recent years this interest has often arisen from outside the orthogonal polynomial community after their connection with ...

A Symmetric Function of Increasing Forests
For an indifference graph G, we define a symmetric function of increasing spanning forests of G. We prove that this symmetric function satisfies certain linear relations, which are also satisfied by the chromatic quasisymmetric function and unicellular $\

Analogues of the Newton formulas for the block-symmetric polynomials on $\ell_p(\mathbb{C}^s)$
The classical Newton formulas gives recurrent relations between algebraic bases of symmetric polynomials. They are true, of course, for symmetric polynomials on infinite-dimensional Banach sequence spaces.

The Poincaré Index and Its Applications
We discuss an approach to the problem of calculating the local topological index of vector fields given on complex spaces or varieties with singularities developed by the author over the past few years. Our method is based on the study of the homology of

Stanley's character polynomials and coloured factorisations in the symmetric group [PDF]
In Stanley [R.P. Stanley, Irreducible symmetric group characters of rectangular shape, Sém. Lothar. Combin. 50 (2003) B50d, 11 p.] the author introduces polynomials which help evaluate symmetric group characters and conjectures that the coefficients of ...
